Sports Court Line Marking.

Accurate, durable court lining for clearer, safer sport — netball, basketball, tennis, MUGAs, and multi-sport courts for schools, academies, clubs, and leisure sites across the UK.

C&R delivers professional sports court line marking for schools, academies, clubs, and leisure sites across the UK.

With over 30 years' experience, our team sets out courts to the right dimensions and applies crisp, high-visibility lines built to perform in busy environments. Whether you're refreshing faded lines, adding a sport to an existing court, or remarking a full layout, we plan the work around access, term times, and fixtures to minimise disruption.

From single-sport courts to MUGAs and multi-sport overlays, we focus on durable finishes, tidy edges, and accurate layouts that support fair play, easy coaching, and a professional site appearance.

Our expertise

Accurate court layouts for
every sport and surface.

We tailor each scheme to your court, surface, and the sports you play — helping you choose layouts, colours, and materials that suit usage, cleaning regimes, and long-term performance.

Scheme types

What are you marking?

Every court is different, so we start with the sports you play, then design a layout around the surface, the available space, and how busy the court gets. Here's how the work usually breaks down, with the right mix chosen for your site.

Single-sport

Single-sport courts.

Accurate lines for netball, basketball, tennis, and other single-sport courts, set out to the right dimensions and marked in clear, hard-wearing colours that read well during fast play.

Best for Schools, academies, and clubs running a dedicated court for one sport.

Multi-use

MUGAs & multi-sport.

Durable multi-use games area markings and multi-sport overlays that keep several games clear and easy to read on a single court, using colour to separate one sport from the next.

Best for Sites that need one surface to serve mixed or competing sports.

Upkeep

Refreshes & overlays.

Refresh and re-mark cycles that restore worn court lines, alongside adding a new sport to an existing court so a familiar surface keeps working harder year-round.

Best for Restoring tired courts or extending what an existing court can host.

FAQs

Answered before
you ask.

The questions procurement, estates and facilities teams ask us most often.

Which sports courts can you mark out?
We line out the full range of common courts — netball, basketball, tennis and similar single-sport layouts, plus multi-use games areas (MUGAs) and multi-sport overlays where several games share one surface. We tailor each scheme to your court, surface and the sports you play.
Can you mark a MUGA or court to the correct dimensions?
Yes. We set out sports courts and multi-use games areas with clear line widths and consistent layouts so they're easy to play on and coach. We work to the dimensions your sport and site require, keeping mixed-sport courts square and easy to read.
Can you fit several sports onto one court?
Yes. Multi-sport overlays mark several games on a single court using clear colour differentiation, so one surface can serve multiple sports without confusion during play. It's a practical way to get more use from a single court.
Will you work around our term times and fixtures?
Always. We plan the work around access, term times, fixtures and any site constraints to keep disruption to a minimum, scheduling areas in turn so sport can carry on around us wherever possible.
How long do sports court markings last?
It depends on the surface, the footfall and how the court is used, but we select durable, high-visibility materials around those factors for a long-lasting result. When lines do eventually wear, we run refresh and re-mark cycles to restore clarity and keep the court looking well-maintained.
Can you refresh or re-mark a worn court?
Yes. We repaint and refresh worn or weathered court lines to restore clarity and presentation, and we can re-mark a full layout where you're changing the scheme or adding a sport. Good adhesion starts with a sound surface, so we carry out practical preparation where it's needed.
